What an incredible night of sushi! We celebrated my mom's actual birthday (01/29/25), which fell on Lunar New Year this year. After a hellish experience at a random spot, we all headed here not expecting much & were pleasantly wowed. We had a private dining area, great servers & staff especially Thompson, & delicious dishes. Plus, a sweet surprise to wrap up the night for the bday queen! Thankful for places that make their customers feel valued and special! Kudos all!

My boyfriend and I came in at 7 on a Friday for a last minute date night. Our host Jessica sat us very quickly and we sat with Thompson! He took care of us and gave amazing recommendations of the menu since we had limited knowledge before coming in. Since they had a variety of sake options. Thompson suggested the Dassai 39 since I preferred sweeter sakes. Amazing choice as it was sweet, floral, and smooth. We got the 12 pc O sampler which I definitely recommend as we were both able to try one piece of the 6 izakaya sashimi. We ate the Golden Eye Snapper before taking a picture and I forgot to get a picture of the Seared Sashimi roll w/Salmon but everything was perfect! We ended the night with Vanilla Tempura Ice cream with chocolate sauce. Everything came out at a perfect pace and we never felt rushed or imposed on. Thank you Thompson and the sushi chefs!

Came here and was able to enjoy their premium omakase experience. Food was beautifully presented and so yummy!! Our favorite was the toro- melted in our mouths. We also loved the egg with uni and truffle. Servers were very friendly and explained each dish and where they came from. No wait on a Sunday evening and plenty of parking. Will definitely be back to try their rolls. Thank you!

Decent sushi place with fairly reasonable lunch price. We had a reservation here with a group of 5 at 1 PM on a Saturday. Interior is dark and had plenty of table and bar seating. They have special lunch set and I got the Chef's Choice 12 piece Sushi ($26) and we shared a yellow tail with jalapeño ($23) scallops ($22) and short rib salad ($28). Also shared a house sake with my fiancé. The lunch set comes with miso soup and salad (pretty average). I liked how they divided the appetizers in individual dishes. Scallop was my favorite! The sushi lunch set was a good deal and a little too much sushi for me but I loved the fatty tuna! Since it was my sisters birthday they gave us a complimentary mochi and cheesecake. Overall a solid place for a special occasion meal. Would love to try the omakase next time

Been on a chirashi bowl wave for a bit and I came across the premium chirashi bowl offered at O Fine Japanese Cuisine. My friend and I were walk ins on a Sunday evening and there was few diners. Their premium chirashi bowl is priced at $52 and comes with a wide assortment of fish in all forms. It included every fish you would see in a roll or nigiri, tamago, seaweed salad, and fried whole shrimp. Everything was plentiful and the bowl came with a salad and miso soup. I didn't go for the salad much since the bowl was hefty and the main star of the show. I shared the bowl and paired it with their B.T.S.T roll. It was a tuna roll comprised of both raw and seared tuna. Their sushi rice has a nice sweet vinegar flavor which made the fish taste even more delicious. We were checked up on numerous times and had an enjoyable experience. I would rate O Fine Japanese Cuisine a 4.5 stars!

My friend and I visited this restaurant during a weekday for dinner. Our server was very friendly and welcoming, but service could still be improved (servers who were not in charge of our area would ignore our hand raised. I understand that each server is in charge of their own section, but it would be great if the ones that are not busy could still notify the correct server if they see his/her customer needs help). Freshwater eel nigiri: love this piece, probably the best of the night. The eel is fresh, not fish at all. The sauce is perfect, not overly salty or sweet. Definitely recommend this. Lobster tail: my friend ordered this and she enjoyed it. The lobster tail is cut into pieces and nicely seasoned. It is still juicy and tender, not overly cooked. King salmon nigiri: the salmon is really fresh, if you love salmon then you should definitely give it a try. The fresh wasabi on top just makes it enjoyable as it gives a nice kick to the flavor. Kanpachi nigiri: Super fresh and sweet! This was recommended by our server and the customers next to us. I don't think they have this fish daily, so if they have it in store then it is worth a try. Veggie roll: love the fish it comes with on top. This might be a typical veggie roll since it comes with fishes, but I think this is what makes it different. The sauce on top adds a great flavor to the piece. Black cod nigiri: the black cod was slightly seared, so it makes it a great cooked piece. The sauce adds a slightly salty taste to it. Worth a try. Yellowtail collar: the portion of this dish was large compared to most Japanese restaurants. It comes with onions, carrots, and asparagus on the bottom, which prevented the fish to be burnt. Love this dish, the lemon adds a touch of sour to it. I really enjoyed it! Overall, O Fine is a good place to stop by if you are craving for sushi in town. However, I didn't find a very unique dish that would want me to give it another try. The restaurant is elegant and business casual.

I decided to give O Fine's premium omakase another shot after being disappointed the first time, and I was blown out of the water by the massive step up in fish and service. Service was prompt and attentive, but not overly so where I felt hovered over. The sushi chefs were friendly, and each dish was explained to us with detail. Every bite was delicious. Each fish was fresh and flavorful, and this time the uni was sweet. Some of my favorite bites: 1. Goldeneye snapper sashimi - the perfect silky but still firm fish paired with yuzu wasabi. 2. A5 wagyu with uni and himeji mushroom - every component paired very well together, and the wagyu had a wonderful crust while still maintaining its melty interior. 3. Chawanmushi with lobster, uni, and ikura - super silky steamed egg with hints of black truffle cooked to perfection. 4. Miso black cod nigiri - delicious miso flavor with a buttery black cod texture 5. Seared Kamatoro with black truffle paste - you could taste the smokiness of the sear as well as the kamatoro itself. The black truffle paste did not overpower the fish, but instead complemented it well. Overall, everything was delicious and I was very pleasantly surprised at how much better my experience was this time. O Fine has definitely redeemed itself and is amongst one of the most memorable (in a good way) omakases I've had.

We came in for an early dinner, this is a nicely decorated Japanese restaurant with comfy booth seatings. Hubby and I shared a bottle of cold sake which was dry and tasty. For food we had assorted nigiri, spicy tuna crispy rice, blue crab hand roll, hamachi collar, ankimo, seaweed salad and cold soba noodles. The raw was very fresh, other items were yummy as well especially the yellowtail collar. Our server was very friendly and attentive. A great Japanese restaurant that we would like to visit again whenever we are in this area!
